My day

My day (/home) is the office's home page: what is booked today, what needs you, what is due this week, and the calendar of everything dated. Office staff land here after signing in. Inspectors and abatement crews land on their own jobs instead; My day is not in their sidebar.

The page opens with the date, the scope (lead paint) and your role, a greeting, and the day in one line ("3 visits today · 9 need you · next at 10:00 AM"). Under it are four tabs: Today, Agenda, Week and Month (?view=agenda|week|month). Every block on the page shows only what your permissions open; the database decides what each one can read.

Today

The four tiles across the top, each with a small picture of what its number means:

TileWhat it countsWho sees it
Visits todayVisits booked for today, with how many are underway; a bar of the day's time slots with the current timeAnyone with the field board (view_field_jobs), or their own visits with field work
Needs youEverything in Act now, split into overdue, due soon and the restAnyone with buildings, projects or client requests to review
Due this weekOpen HPD lead orders and dated apartment deadlines from today through six days out, as seven barsAnyone with buildings (view_buildings)
Unpaid invoicesSent invoices with money still owed (total minus recorded payments), how many are past their due date, and drafts still to send. Due is the invoice's own due date, else sent + 30 daysAnyone who sees money (view_financials). Without it the fourth tile is Waiting on client (visits arranging access or refused), else client requests to review

Today's appointments places each visit at its booked time, as tall as its hour, with overlapping visits side by side, the free time between visits marked and a line at the current time. Visits booked with no time, and earlier days' visits that were never finished (marked "From Oct 8" in red), sit in the Any time lane above the hours. Each card shows who is on it (red when nobody is) and its stage, and opens the field job.

Act now is one list, most urgent first: the registration order (HPD 780, which blocks every other certification at the building), overdue and this week's lead orders, dated apartment deadlines, client work orders and building requests waiting for review, and your own project next steps from your role's queue (the same items as Projects › My queue). Each row says what it is, where, when it is due and the one thing to do. Six show; Show all opens up to 30, and My queue opens the full queue. Your role decides your queue: Dispatch sees booking work, Compliance sees reports to review, Billing sees invoices, the project admin sees every queue.

This week is a seven-day strip with a count per day; pick a day to list what is on it. Waiting on others counts who the work is stuck on: the client or tenant (visits still arranging access), access (visits that ended with no access), HPD (certified orders waiting for HPD to close) and client requests. Recent activity lists visits completed, visits added and outreach logged in the last week.

City deadlines on My day are HPD lead-paint orders only. Mold orders are not shown yet.

Agenda, Week and Month

The calendar of everything dated that you may see: booked field visits, HPD correct-by dates of open lead orders, apartment deadlines (from Deadlines), ECB/OATH hearings, license expiries and, for whoever sees money, invoice due dates. Red means overdue.

  • Agenda lists 30 days, a day at a time; fold a day to its one-line tally.
  • Week is a time grid for booked visits, with deadlines in the All day row. Dispatch's Schedule in the sidebar opens here.
  • Month shows each day's first items and "+N more"; on a phone a day is a number with dots, and tapping it lists that day underneath. The default on a phone is the agenda.

The four counts above the calendar (This week, Next 30 days, Overdue, Unassigned) are buttons: each jumps to its view or filter. The filter row narrows by kind (Show), Assigned to (including unassigned visits), borough and client; search matches address, client and title. Clicking an item opens a small card with its facts and a link to its real page, where anything is changed: the calendar itself edits nothing. The view, date and filters live in the URL, and the old /calendar address opens here with its filters kept.
